Founded in Sherman Oaks, California in 2008, BR Bespoke has grown into a four-city house spanning California, North Carolina, and Texas. This is our story.
Our Story
Sixteen Years of Quiet Mastery
2008
Sherman Oaks, California
Founded by Manni Romal in a small Sherman Oaks studio. A single tailor, a single bench, and a handful of clients who believed the West Coast deserved real bespoke construction.
2017
Orange County
After nine years quietly building a clientele in Los Angeles, the house relocates to Orange County to serve a growing roster of West-Coast executives, founders, and grooms.
2019
Raleigh, North Carolina
The first studio outside of California opens in Raleigh — bringing hand-canvassed construction and full bespoke tailoring to the East Coast.
2023
Houston, Texas
The house lands in Texas. Two Houston studios open in the same year — the Galleria flagship and the Heights boutique — and Houston quickly becomes the heart of the brand.

Bespoke is not a category. It is a posture — the choice to be shaped by craft rather than convenience.
Every commission begins with the man, not the garment. We ask about your life: the rooms you walk into, the work you do, the people who depend on you. The suit follows from there.
Our patterns are hand-drafted. Our canvases are floating. Our buttonholes are sewn by hand. None of it is faster, simpler, or cheaper than the alternative — and that is the point.

Full-canvas hand construction, floating chest piece, hand-padded lapels, pick-stitched edges. Every step that defines true bespoke — done by hand, not machine.

Precision
Thirty-plus measurements. Three fittings. Patterns hand-drafted from scratch, never adjusted from a block. The fit is what separates bespoke from everything else — and we never approximate.
The Founder
Manni Romal
Founder & Style ConsultantManni founded the house in 2008, in a small studio in Sherman Oaks, California. What began as a single-tailor atelier has, over seventeen years, grown into a four-city bespoke house spanning California, North Carolina, and Texas — but the philosophy has never changed. Every commission still begins with him.
Trained in the European bespoke tradition, Manni cuts the first pattern for every new client, leads every initial consultation, and personally signs off on every finished garment. The clients he served in his first year still return today.
His belief is simple: a man's wardrobe should make him better. Not louder, not flashier — better. More confident in the room he is in, more present with the people in front of him. Everything BR Bespoke does flows from that conviction.
